Chocolate Chip Cookies

Even when you say, "chocolate chip cookie" a chorus of orchestral musical sound comes though my brain. It is the most favorite cookie of all time. At the Heritage Farm Market this cookie sold out 90% of the time. It was the hot humid days that people went to the beach or ran through a hose in the yard to stay cool, when a few of these cookies made it back home at the end of the market.
Definately a favorite with children, who chose the chocolate chip cookie over the others. I hope you enjoy this recipe and the cookies.

Chocolate Chips                                                400g                       1 ¾ cups

Preheat to 375 F

1.        Cream butter and sugar until smooth.

2.        Beat in eggs one at a time.

3.        Add vanilla.

4.       In a separate bowl combine or sift together dry ingredients.

5.      Combine dry ingredients into butter/egg mixture then add chocolate chips.

6.      Drop on parchment lined cookie sheet.

7.      Bake 375F or 190C for about 8-10 minutes. I have made them by preheating the oven to 350 and baking for about 14 minutes. That works great too.
